Living and Dining Design

With a need for seating for girls' nights, a desire to reflect her love of cycling, plus a design durable enough for her sweet pup, this space was fun to put together for my amazing client! We started with a new sofa and loveseat in a durable performance fabric, then rearranged her existing art along with a new cycling themed gallery wall. From there we layered in lots of patterns in the textiles, rug, and accessories that reflect a relaxed yet polished aesthetic all at once. The new cocktail ottoman steals the show and the window treatments complete the space. What a great space to relax, entertain, and work for my client.

Open Concept Kitchen & Living Renovation

For a couple that loves modern style, vintage pieces, and bold colors, this project was so much fun! Walls were removed, entrances placed where there weren't any before, and amazing new lighting was added to make this 1980s minimal, mountain styled home in Charlotte feel fresh and new. The open concept is great for this busy family to relax and entertain for a crowd but the various zones keep it feeling intimate too. This project features the construction work of Copperleaf Builders and original artwork by Bre Crenshaw and Kat Hoskins.

This couple had some amazing pieces to work with - a beautiful rug and an antique dresser we artfully weaved into a design that feels both fresh, new, and curated over time. A soft color palette of mauve, navy, teal, and white works well with accents of pink and blue to give an unexpected and interesting space for this fun couple. The room leads into the owners' bathroom that we punched up with a new wall color, lighting, mirrors, and accessories. Putting this beautiful room together for these special clients was so much fun.

Coworking Office Design

South City Title is an awesome, award winning team of professionals in the real estate title industry. When they approached me about developing a space for their team, I was struck by how much they wanted to be together! They are through with working from home and wanted a coworking place where their staff could work at a traditional desk, cafe setting, or lounge area. The space offers several zones...and large screen TVs to work and relax. The leased space offered the existing black sound panels, exposed brick walls, steel beams, and beautiful brown concrete floors. I took this palette and brought in browns, greens, and blacks accented with bright art. For a large industrial space, it truly feels cozy. The team was all smiles when they moved in!

This kitchen welcomes you in with a scheme of warm coppers, rusts, and browns and features a large island and cozy breakfast nook. We updated the cabinetry by painting it to match the trim in a bright warm white accented by a beautiful chocolate brown island. The updated island is now just one level with pop up outlets. My client loves sitting down in the breakfast nook - smartly reupholstered in indoor/outdoor fabrics. Through small and simple changes, this space feel brand new.

Creative Bedroom & Playroom Designs

Working with their favorite colors of yellow, pink, purple, and teal - we created bedroom designs and a full playroom for two sweet sisters. We restored several pieces of vintage furniture, including bedsides tables, thanks to Restoration Moye. Note: favorite color of yellow on the bedside tables! This client and I had fun to create a whimsical and fun space that is perfect for the girls' now, but will also grow with them to her tweens and teens. The designs include cozy bedding, handmade fabric garland, art "houses" to display their special things, special butterfly hanging art, and artwork display area. We had so much fun with this project!
Rooftop Oasis
Outdoor Dining and Living Spaces

It was a true joy to work with Gokotta on this project to create a rooftop patio for an amazing creative couple to work, entertain, dine, and relax. Custom seating, outdoor pergola with lighting, firepit, and a beautiful handmade screen created three separate zones. We were able to add more seating (with storage for outdoor cushions!) for large gatherings of friends and family as well as working meetings for both of their personal businesses. Their daughter was excited to have "camp outs" under the stars with her friends! The finishing touches of pillows, plants, and décor added to the magic of this space. We so appreciate the opportunity to work with Jenny Vallimont of Gokotta on this amazing project!
