Our Design Process

Inquiry Form &
Discovery Call

Everyone starts here! Complete the inquiry form found on our site and you will receive a follow up to schedule your Discovery call. This introductory call gives Sarah Hayden the chance to review your answers on the form, learn more about your project and needs. You'll hear more about the Hayden Home Studio process of design, our fee structure, and which design plan may work best for you. From here we will set a time for your in-person consultation meeting.

Consultation &

Project Planning

This working meeting takes place in your home or project location. We'll get to know your family, understand what is working and not working for you, and finalize your project budget. You'll get a few immediate ideas on the fly and our team will leave with accurate measurements, lots of photos, and an understanding of your needs and aesthetic to begin building your design.

Agreement &

Contract

Shortly after your consultation, you will be provided with a Design Proposal and the Design Agreement. These documents give us the framework to follow for your project regarding the timeline, budget, and communication methods in an easy to follow way. Once the agreement is signed, the true design work will begin.

First Look &

Feedback

Fun delivered to your inbox! This digital design first draft will include inspiration images, color choices, floor plans, 3D renderings, and if applicable specific furniture choices for you. Our goal is to make sure we are on the right track with your design before we take too much time sourcing specifics for you. You will provide specific feedback in a timely manner to help our design work move forward.

Design

Presentation

Your final design presentation is your chance to see, touch, and envision your project! We will meet or by a virtual meeting. Once the design is approved, you will receive what you need to move forward to the purchasing and installation phase. For those utilizing our Designer Blueprint package, you will receive your final plan, shoppable links for purchasing and all details needed to make your design a success!

Purchasing &

Installation

Your project comes alive in this phase. All items selected will be purchased and delivered to your home on designated installation days. Tradespersons as needed for your project will be scheduled to begin work and managed by Hayden Home Studio. Once all pieces have arrived and work is complete, the Hayden Home Studio team will style, stage, and put the finishing touches on your space.
